The Jester

Mardi Gras

Mardi Gras is celebrating it's 173rd year in New Orleans this coming February. I have never been, but I would love to go. The parade must be something to see with all the colorful costumes and floats. I just finished my Jester in honor of Mardi Gras.

Honey, you look fabulous!

My God, where does the time go! Here it is the 8th of December already! I hope you all had a fabulous Holiday season. I'm sure you were all busy shopping, wrapping, cooking, crafting and decking the halls! I am relieved it is over, even though it was wonderful, it is exhausting! I have noticed the older I get the harder it has become.
So for my first blog post of 2010 I thought I would feature some very talented people and some of my dearest Etsy friends! Enjoy!

Tree House Number 7

This Tree House was so much fun! Probably because winter is my favorite season. I love snow, lots of it! Everyone thinks I must ski or iceskate, but no, I just love hibernating in my house and watching it snow! My idea of a perfect day is to have a blizzard, dinner in the crockpot, a spotless house and a project to work on! Just gives me a peaceful, cozy feeling!

Celebrate 365 Magazine feature!!!!!

I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of Celebrate 365 and today the Summer and Fall issues arrived! What a beautiful magazine! It's published quarterly and is packed with oodles of Holiday goodies! I can't believe the talent in there! I am feeling very lucky to have been featured in the Summer and the Fall issues. I "met" Connie Porcher, the publisher of the magazine last year on Etsy. This past summer she contacted me to submit a couple of pictures and then again this fall. I am thrilled and I can't thank Connie enough for her consideration!

The Fall issue of Celebrate 365, included my Treehouse#5, a Witch, and a Lil Reaper.

The Summer issue of Celebrate 365 featured two of my 4th of July ornaments.
