My family is huge and nobody in their right mind wants the whole clan at their house so we rent a restaurant on Christmas Day. There are 57 of us, Mom, Dad, sisters, brothers, in-laws, neices, nephews, and grandkids. It's always chaotic and loud, but a great way to spend time with the whole group! Unfortunately Natalie got the bug, and I missed her and her family!

It actually sounds so great that you all come together like that!
When I was young my family, aunts, cousins etc on my mothers side of the family always meet at my grandmothers house every saturday to have dinner together. It was great times..but when I think of it, poor grandmother who did all that food every Saturday or even worse all the dishes!
