Love your houses! How long does it take to make one?

Thanks for the comments! Rose, each house takes 1-2 weeks depending on how sore my fingers get! I can't use a thimble and I get a permanate needle hole in my finger from pushing the needle through so many layers of felt! Ouch!

lefty...have you tried a leather thimble? I can use a thimble, but I hate them and only do so when I absolutely have to.

Rose, I have tried them all! I just can't get the detail with a thimble, they are too clumsy. I can't scrub very good with rubber gloves either! lol!

I'm so excited to find your blog!! I love the houses and all your wonderful characters! I have a permanent callus on my finger from sticking the back of a needle through so many times...I feel your pain! :)
