Carrot Top Mossie

I was taking my bath last night and thought hmmm, wonder what a Carrot Mossie would look like. I have a very busy brain, I can't even relax in the tub! I immediately sketched a few little carrot heads, started stitching, right through Desperate Housewives, I might add, and here is the finished product!

12th place!

Well, the results are in. My Mossie came in 12th place. Better than a swift kick in the ... I suppose! Haha! Thanks for your votes, dear friends!

Apple Blossoms

Right down the street from my house is an Apple Orchard. In the spring it is spectacular when all the trees are in bloom. I stitched this Apple Tree this weekend, it was fun, but very unlikely I'll ever make another. I love making one of a kind pieces, but two of a kind, not so much fun if you know what I mean!

Happy Birthday Sean and Bob!

Sean is my oldest grandson and turned 15 on March 15. He is a cutie-patootie, really smart, is kind, and loves his Grandma! I am having a hard time with his newly aquired deep voice!

This is Bob! Sean got him for his birthday 6 years ago. Bob was just a teeny little tortoise and is growing bigger everyday. He could out live us all!

Monster Folks
